Biographical

Dan Gulden has mediated well over 2,500 cases since 1990 for private parties, the American Arbitration Assn. (AAA), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Ga. court systems, federal government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, and national provider organizations and currently serves as a full-time neutral. 

 
85% of practice involves Mediation in business, commercial, employment, divorce, estate, small construction, personal injury, and securities; 15% of practice involves Arbitration in business, commercial, small construction and securities; 5% of practice involves training and mentoring of neutrals. Over thirty years as an attorney handling business, employment, tax, regulatory compliance, and estate issues, including in-house counsel and chief administrative officer for a manufacturing company.
 
His background includes in-house counsel & chief admin. officer of a manufacturing company, attorney with the Chief Counsel's Office for IRS and solo legal practice.
 
Dan has mediated dozens of business/contract disputes involving the purchase and sale of goods and services between businesses and involving issues such as interpretation of and conformance to contract requirements and measurement of damages. He has mediated many residential or small commercial construction cases between owners and contractors or subcontractors, as well as dozens of employment cases involving gender, race and age discrimination, as well as defamation, concerning termination, promotion and reassignment.  Dan has also mediated many Estate/Probate and Divorce cases involving all types of issues.

He has spoken to Dispute Resolution classes at area law schools, serves on panels at CLE programs, is a role play coach in mediation trainings and a judge in mock mediation competitions for mediators and advocates.

Dan's comments concerning Mediation were noted in the book titled "Expert Mediators", by Poitras and Raines (2013, Jason Aronson Pub).

Rates Information

$225 per hour per party in a 2-party case (total $450/hr.  $195 per hour per party in a 3-party case.
